We’re at The Tetons, retracing our first-ever RV trip
Happy 20th Anniversary to Randy and Me!
We were introduced to each other by a friend who knew we both had a wandering spirit. Two years later we were a couple. And three years after that (17 years ago), we struck out on what we thought was to be a once in a lifetime, year-long RV trip. Of course, we now know how life-changing that trip was!
We’ve never revisited some of the more northern stops of that first trip. But we’re doing it now, although driving in the opposite direction, as we head toward home. Beginning with…
Grand Tetons National Park

Unfortunately we had rain and low clouds on 2 of the 3 days we spent in the park.

The weather didn’t stop us. We hiked muddy trails and made every stop on the driving route.

We camped in the forest along the Gros Ventre River . The sun was kind enough to peek through the clouds on two of the evenings.

Moving On…..to Yellowstone National Park
Where we would soon discover the rain at The Tetons was just a preview of what was in store.
But Yellowstone deserves its own separate blog. So… to be continued…
Days on the road at time of posting: 93
Total camping costs to date: $89
That last photo is spectacular!
